Spring Brings Flowers
Want to add a touch of spring inside your house? Let’s get creative and make some flowers!
These coffee filter flowers are a great way to add some beauty made by your favorite little people! They will be so excited to display their beautiful flowers in your home!
You can paint the filters with water color paint… marker them up with multiple colors and then spray them with a water bottle and let the colors blend together… add droplets of water with food coloring mixed in… the options are endless! They will have so much fun creating their colorful flowers. You can use this time with them to talk about colors of flowers, different types of flowers, and different colors they see in nature. You could also have them write something they’re thankful for on each filter and create a bouquet of things they’re thankful for. This is such a fun activity with endless possibilities!

Directions
Color your coffee filters… get creative!
Let the coffee filters dry for about 30-45 minutes, depending on how wet they are.
After they are dry, layer 2 or 3 on top of each other. Then, grab in the middle and “scrunch” up them a bit to make the flowers look more fluffed.
Using a pipe cleaner, poke a hole in the middle (parents might want to assist). Secure the pipe cleaner and allow it to come down as a stem.
After you have created your bouquet of flowers, twist the pipe cleaners together on the bottom, so your bouquet is secured.
Finally, place them in a vase or give them to someone you’re thankful for!
