Saltwater Color Project
Water color is a fun way to paint. It gives you a chance to paint outside the lines and create abstract art and let the colors flow together. The salt adds a cool effect that’ll have you doing this project multiple times.

Supplies Needed
White 8 x 11 cardstock
Water color paint
Paintbrush
Masking tape
Salt
Directions
Place the card stock in front of you. Tape all four sides leaving a small amount of tape on each end to stick to the table making the paper unable to move.
Using the water color, create a picture or abstract painting covering the empty space.
After creating a masterpiece, sprinkle salt right away all over the watercolor.
Let this dry for 10-15 minutes and then carefully remove the salt over a trash can.
Lastly, slowly remove the tape leaving a border around your art.
Tips
Try not to get the card stock too wet or the salt won’t dry all of the water up.
You can put more tape on the card stock, diagonally or other directions, to get even more creative.
