Rainbow Christmas Tree

Supplies

  • Blue Paper/Cardstock

  • White Paper

  • Brown Paper

  • Colored Paper

  • Gold/Glittery Paper

  • White Paint

  • Scissors

  • Glue

Instructions

  • Cut a strip of white paper with a wavy edge, the same width as your blue paper. Glue it to the bottom of the blue paper to make snow.

  • Cut a small brown paper rectangle to make the tree trunk and glue it onto the snow.

  • Stack your colored sheets of paper together and cut off a strip about 1-2 cms wide. Then cut that to give you short sections about 5 cm long.

  • Stack a few rectangle strips together and curl them around a paint brush handle.

  • Glue a row of 7 curled paper strips along your picture to make the bottom of the Christmas tree. Glue the next row with 6 strips, then 5 and so on all the way up to just 2 strips at the top. Be sure to angle the side ones slightly.

  • Cut two triangles from the gold paper and glue them to the top of the tree to make a star.

  • Dab dots of white paint around the tree to make snow falling.
