HOMEMADE PIZZA

It’s a Pizza Party!! 🎉

Pizza is a super fun way to get quality time with your kids and let them create new topping combinations that they want AND will eat! Because they are a part of the creation, you get to spend more time with them and see them get excited about creating their personalized pizza! It’s amazing what kids will tell you when you’re doing something together. You may learn a lot more about them than just what they like on their pizza.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt

  • 4 tablespoons sugar

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 ½ cups warm water

  • 4 cups bread flour

  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Topping Ideas

  • Red sauce

  • Alfredo sauce

  • Cheese

  • Pepperoni

  • Sausage

  • Chicken

  • Bacon

  • Onion

  • Bell peppers

  • Olives

  • Basil

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350* F.

  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the salt, sugar, olive oil, water, flour and yeast, starting on low to form a ball of dough, and then slowly go to a medium speed for about 15 minutes.

  • Grab the dough and roll it on a flat surface to get a ball-like shape. Place it in a glass bowl and coat it with the rest of the olive oil.

  • Flatten out your dough on a pizza pan.  Evenly spread melted butter around the edges of the crust and in the center to get more of a flavorful bite.

  • Now’s the time to add the sauce, cheese, and the toppings of your dreams.

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Enjoy!

  • For a better dough outcome, make the dough the night before (through step 3), cover it, and place it in the fridge until you’re ready to make your pizza.
