After arriving to pick up their son from an in-home daycare, they found the caregiver engrossed in soap operas, shushing the children to keep them quiet. At that moment, they knew that children deserved so much more—a place where their growth, curiosity, and joy would be at the forefront.

Driven by their passion to provide a better environment for not only their child but for all children, the founders made a bold decision that very day. They removed their child from that daycare and set out to create something extraordinary. They envisioned a space where children would be free to explore, learn, and thrive in an environment filled with care and compassion.

Within just twelve months, their dream became a reality. The doors of Small World Child Care Center opened in West Valley City, welcoming families who, like them, sought a place where their children could flourish. This wasn’t just a daycare—it was a community, built on trust, love, and a shared belief in the potential of every child.

As the years passed, the founders’ vision grew. Their dedication and passion led to the expansion of Small World Child Care Centers across the Wasatch Front, with three locations serving over 600 children. Each center carried the same core values: a commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and loving environment where children could embark on a journey of discovery every single day.
