SLIME

Slime is a trend that keeps popping up all over the internet. It’s as easy as five minutes and provides hours of entertainment for your kids. You can make it your favorite color, add glitter, or even add sensory objects such as confetti or beads. Let’s get started!

Tips:

• To get the most out of the slime, people have suggested to leave it sitting overnight.
• Place slime into a sealed container or zip lock bag when it’s not being used, so it does not dry out.

Supplies Needed

  • Elmer’s Glue

  • Liquid Starch

  • Water

  • Food Coloring

  • Mixing Bowl

  • Spoon

Directions

  • In a medium size mixing bowl, take Elmer’s glue and empty the whole bottle.

  • Using the empty bottle, fill it halfway with water and mix it in with the glue.

  • If you want to add food coloring or glitter, this is the perfect time to add it.

  • Measure out ½ cup liquid starch. When adding it to the mixture, make sure to pour it in slowly.

  • Mix well until the slime becomes a thick consistency. It works better if you knead the slime with your hands once it thickens up a little.

  • If wanting to add sensory objects, this is the perfect time to add it.
