Playgrounds and Gymnasium

Large, well-equipped outside play areas challenge each child’s body and help foster a positive attitude toward fitness, competition, and cooperation. The gymnasium is a great place for group games, obstacle courses and an indoor place for fun experiences.

School Bus pick-up and drop-off

We provide before and after school programs for elementary school age children. Buses and Vans are used to transport the children to and from school each day.

Food Program

Breakfast, lunch and snack are prepared according to the federal guidelines outlined in the U.S.D.A. Child Nutrition Program. With a five week rotating menu, the children are assured to enjoy a variety of healthy meals each day.

Safety

Our Center has the Keyless Entry System that allows only authorized persons with unique personal identification numbers to open the door and gain entrance to the building.

Staff

Our staff are warming caring individuals chosen because of their love for children. Each employee of Small World is interviewed extensively. Once chosen, they are required to pass a criminal background screening, a tuberculosis test, and a food handler’s course. Under the supervision of the Director, each employee is observed and trained specifically for their age group. A 90 day introductory period must be completed to formalize training and employment. Continued training is provided within Small World and from approved outside agencies to ensure professional growth.
